A Senate session will be held on Tuesday at the Parliament House, which has been summoned on the requisition of the opposition parties.

The members will discuss the Kashmir crisis and the lock down in Indian-occupied Kashmir. The senators will also discuss the strategy and efforts of the government in this matter.

The session will also discuss the economic condition, increase of oil, gas and electricity prices, while the 'political victimization' of opposition party members will also come under discussion.

"The House may discuss the government’s decision to dissolve Pakistan Medical and Dental Council through an ordinance, inspite of the fact that a similar ordinance was rejected earlier by the Senate," a notification issued by the Senate read.
