  • "Indian soldiers are getting killed and injured," the DG ISPR tweeted.

Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said that it is the beginning of an end to Indian state terrorism as brave Kashmiris are putting up a fight in Indian-occupied Kashmir (IoK)

On Tuesday, the DG ISPR took to his personal Twitter handle and wrote that clashes between the freedom fighters and Indian troops are on the increase in which the Indian soldiers are getting killed and injured.

"Brave Kashmiris are putting up resistance under siege. Clashes between valiant freedom fighters and Indian occupation forces on the increase. Indian soldiers are getting killed / injured. It’s beginning of the end, end of Indian state terrorism, occupation, IA. We are with you," the DG ISPR tweeted.

It has been four months since the Indian government revoked Article 370 from its constitution and stripped off the special status granted to IoK. On October 31, the Indian government officially split the valley into two new federally-administered territories.

Now, IoK is one territory and Ladakh, which borders China is a separate territory and both will now be ruled directly from Delhi. After the state was bifurcated into two Union Territories, the president's rule imposed in IoK has also been revoked.

The Kashmiris however, remain under siege with more than 40,000 detained in the valley as well as in India. Internet services as well as pre-paid services are still suspended in the region.
