The futures spread declined by 257bps to negative 31.97 percent on the last day of the outgoing week. Trading activities on the futures counter remained thin as average daily volumes declined by 37.2 percent to 66.78 million shares as compared to previous week's average of 106.26 million shares. Average daily trading value declined by 34.2 percent to Rs 2.76 billion during this week.
