ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the date of filing of Income Tax Returns/Statements for individuals and Associations of Persons (APOs) for the Tax Year 2019 up to October 31, 2019.

According to an income tax circular 14 of 2019 issued here on Monday, the FBR has announced that the Individuals and Associations of Persons who were required to file their Income Tax Returns/Statements of final taxation for the Tax Year 2019 which were due on September 30, 2019, but failed to file their income tax returns /statements, are hereby allowed to file their returns/statements by October 31, 2019.

The companies which were required to file Returns of Total Income/Statements of final taxation for the Tax Year 2019, which were due on September 30, 2019 but failed to file their Income Tax Returns /Statements, though have paid 95 percent of the admitted tax liability, are hereby allowed to file their returns/statements by October 31, 2019, FBR added.
