  • PM is on 'Mission Kashmir' in New York to raise voice against Indian atrocities.
  • He will address UNGA today.

Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the United Nation General Assembly (UNGA) where he will draw the international community's attention towards Indian's atrocities in occupied Kashmir.

Addressing the Asia Society in New York City on Thursday, the premier said that in his 22, 23 years of politics, he has never seen anticipation for anything like there is for his speech in the UNGA."The closest feeling I've had in the past was before the World Cup cricket final I played a long time ago."

Before his departure to US, the premier had promised to solely highlight the Kashmir issue in his UNGA address and expose the ethical and legal bankruptcy of India’s annexation of IoK. On August 5, Indian government revoked Article 370 from its constitution and stripped of the special status given to occupied Kashmir.

India also imposed a curfew in the region which has entered its 54 day. Over eight million Kashmiris have been detained by Indian occupying forces in the valley.
