US President Donald Trump has said that 'lot of progress' has been made between Pakistan and India and that he will meet Prime Minister Imran Khan and PM Narendra Modi soon.

While answering a question outside the White House, the US president said,"I'll see Prime Minister Modi and I will - we'll - be meeting with India and Pakistan and I think a lot of progress has been made there...lot of progress." Trump will be meeting Modi and will also be joining him at a gathering of Indian-Americans in Houston on September 22.

Meanwhile, PM Khan will also be arriving in USA on a four-day official visit on September 23. The premier will address the United Nations General Assembly on September 27.

According to Special Secretary Foreign Office Moazzam Ahmed Khan, the prime minister will solely dilate on the Kashmir issue in the session and will not touch on any other issue in his speech.
