India lose in semis, two Pakistanis to compete for SAARC Snooker Championship

Pakistan confirmed the title of the first South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Snooker Championship being held in Dhaka, after both Muhammad Bilal and Asjad Iqbal reached the final of the tournament, beating rivaling Indian players in their respective semifinals.

In the second semifinals Asjad beat India’s Laxman Rawat after a hard fought battle, winning the semifinals by six to four frames in the eleven frames.

Meanwhile, in the first semifinal Mohammed Bilal beat Sandeep Galati of India in a one sided encounter, winning the game by six to zero frames in the eleven frames.

The final will be played between the two Pakistani snooker players  at 12:00pm local time on Friday.
