Saudi FM to arrive in Pakistan tomorrow on a day-long visit

Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir will arrive in Pakistan on Wednesday on a day-long visit.

According to the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad the Saudi minister will meet Prime Minister Imran Khan, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa. Al-Jubeir will be holding a meeting with leaders and will discuss bilateral matters and the regional situation, local media reported.

Meanwhile, the premier called Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and discussed latest developments in the region. "During the call, they reviewed relations between the two countries and the latest developments in the region," the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The premier has made multiple contacts with the Saudi crown prince since India abrogated Article 370 from its constitution and stripped of its special status. On Sunday, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Raja Ali Ejaz met the Saudi FM and discussed the recent developments in South Asia.
