PM Imran Khan chairs federal cabinet meeting

Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired on Tuesday a federal cabinet meeting on Tuesday morning.

The meeting was expected to focus on seven-point agenda. The cabinet started the meeting by offering Fateha for the mother of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan who passed away this morning.

The meeting will discuss the overall political and economic situation of the country. The meeting will also discuss the prevailing situation in Indian-occupied Kashmir (IoK). The premier is also likely to discuss his upcoming trip to the United Nations General Assembly. The premier will be addressing the UNGA at the end of September.

The cabinet will also give approval for the appointment of Federal Minister Fahmida Mirza as chairperson of the Federal Land Commission, local media reported. The closure of Pakistani airspace to India amid the situation IoK will also come under discussion.
