Another Pakistan Army soldier martyred in Indian firing along LoC: DG ISPR

A day after three Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred due to Indian firing across the Line of Control (LoC), Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor announced the death of another soldier along the LoC.

The DG ISPR announced the death of the soldier on the official Twitter handle on Friday. He wrote that Sepoy Muhammad Sheeraz embraced martyrdom in Buttal Sector along LoC due to Indian firing.

"Another brave son of soil laid his life in the line of duty. Sepoy Muhammad Sheeraz embraced shahadat due to Indian firing in Buttal Sector along LoC," the DG ISPR tweeted.

In a similar tweet on Thursday, the DG ISPR announced that three soldiers were martyred due to India's increased firing along the LoC. He further said this was India's 'efforts to divert attention from precarious situation in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir'.

The DG ISPR added that in a counter-attack, Pakistan Army had killed five Indian soldiers and injured several others while bunkers were also damaged. The Pakistani soldiers who lost their lives included Naik Tanveer, Lance Naik Taimoor and Sepoy Ramzan.
