On his return from a successful first official trip from the United States, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan said that there will come a day when a green passport holder will be respected in the world.

The premier who returned on the wee hours of Thursday was welcomed by senior party leaders and workers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf amid slogans and applause at Islamabad International Airport. Addressing the huge gathering, the premier said that he feels as if he has won the World Cup and come home.

"I have never bowed to anyone nor will I let my people bow down before anyone," the PM promised. He vowed that he will make Pakistan a great nation based on the principles of the State of Madinah.

The prime minister said he had asked the United States and other western countries to help Pakistan get back its looted wealth that the thieves had stashed abroad. He reiterated that he will rebuild the institutions damaged by the former rulers through their corrupt practices.
