An accountability court issued on Tuesday a notice to Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz over her submission of fake trust deed in the Avenfield case.

The notice has been issued by accountability court Judge Muhammad Bashir. The notice has summoned the Maryam leader to appear before the court on July 19, local media reported. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had submitted a request to the the court to start a trial against the PML-N leader for submitting fake documents in the Avenfield case.

Last year, Judge Bashir had announced his verdict and convicted Maryam in the London properties case. The judge had sentenced Maryam to seven years in prison. However, the sentence was suspended by the Islamabad High Court.
