PPP should avoid usage of Sindh card to shield its corruption

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information Shaukat Ali Yousafzai Monday said Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) should not had to use Sindh card in the matters of corruption as Asif Ali Zardari has been arrested in fake accounts case.

In a statement issued here, he said that Bilawal Bhutto's statement in this regard is condemnable as the cases were lodged by Nawaz Sharif against Zardari and Benazir Bhutto. He asked the PPP leaders to not use poor workers to shield their corruption. He said the nation has now understood that why the opposition was planning for movement against the PTI government.

The minister said the government did not intervene in the arrest of Asif Zardari, adding, the people who called each other thieves in the past would now meet in jail.

He said all the thieves and corrupts would be arrested without any discrimination. The minister said both Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari were responsible for the current economic situation of the country.

He also asked Asfandyar Wali to not forget later's governmental tenure in the province when the government jobs were being sold out while the peace and security situation was also bad.

He said the people had voted Imran Khan for bringing change and development in the country and the PTI government has put the country on the right track.
