Hot weather expected in Pakistan’s most parts

KARACHI: Met office said Thursday that mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very hot weather will hit south Punjab and Sindh during the next 24 hours.

However, dust-thunderstorm/rain is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, D.I.Khan, Kalat, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir during evening/night.

During the past 24 hours, weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country, while very hot in south Punjab and Sindh. However, rain occurred at one or two places in Quetta division and Lasbella.

Yesterday's highest maximum temperatures: Jaccobabad, Shaheed Benazirabad, Bahawalnagar 45°C, DG Khan, Okara, Dadu, Sakrand,  Moenjodaro, Khanpur, Sibbi, Chhor, Sukkur & Padidan 44°C.
