The Zakat will be deducted on first of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak on the amount in a bank account exceeding the above value, said a SBP press release.

This is in reference to the notification by the Administrator General Zakat, Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony about "Nisab for Zakat" for the year 1439-40 AH.
