Kartarpur Corridor talks: Pakistan accepts India's proposal for technical meeting on April 16

08 Apr, 2019

Pakistan accepted on Monday India’s proposal to hold a technical meeting on the Katarpur Corridor on April 16.

The Foreign Office Spokesperson Mohammad Faisal took to the official Twitter account and wrote that Pakistan continuing with its spirit of constructive engagement, had agreed to India’s proposal for a meeting on April 16.

“We expect positivity from India so that the corridor becomes reality for 550th celebrations,” the spokesperson further said.

On March 29, India had postponed the Kartarpur Corridor talks scheduled for April 2 without consulting with Pakistan. “Last minute postponement without seeking views from Pakistan and especially after the productive technical meeting on 19 March is incomprehensible,” the FO spokesperson had written on Twitter.
