Just like every year, Google is once again celebrating April Fools’ Day by adding up a game in Google Maps, and this time it has brought back the classic ‘Snakes’ game to the app.

To mark the celebration of this year’s April Fools, Google has temporarily brought back a version of the all-time-favorite, classic games ‘Snakes’ to its Google Maps app for users to have some fun while navigation.

Google’s Snakes game is city-based. Users can find the game in the menu of the Maps app. In order to play, the user would have to select a city, such as Cairo, Tokyo, London, or the entire world. The game instead of a snake features a train or a bus that moves when a user swipes. Instead of collecting food, the vehicle moves around the maps to pick up passengers and landmarks.

Though the April Fools last only for a day, Google’s game usually sticks around for longer time. Hence, the tech giant has stated that the game, which has already rolled out to Android and iOS users globally, will be remain on the app for the rest of the week.

Moreover, Google also created a standalone site for the game for both desktop and mobile where users can play if they don’t have the app, even after the game has ended its time period, as per Google.
