Malaysian PM to visit Pakistan from March 21 to March 23

Pakistan Day's guest of honor Prime Minister of Malaysia Mahathir Mohamad will be coming to Pakistan on March 21 on a three-day visit to the country.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), the Malaysian PM is visiting the country at the invitation of PM Imran Khan. Mohamad will be accompanied by a high-level delegation including several leading businessmen.

The Malaysian prime minister will meet President Arif Alvi, have a one-on-one meeting with PM Khan and will also hold delegation level talks. "The two prime ministers will also speak at the Round Table meeting of the CEOs of Industries, who desire to invest in automobile and telecommunication sectors of Pakistan," according to MOFA.

"Prime Minister, Tun Mahathir’s visit would further cement the existing brotherly and friendly relations between the two countries," the press release further reads. The focus of the interest will be for the mutual benefit of the peoples of the two countries, that is enhancing economic, trade, investment, and defence ties.
