Declaring model Ayyan Ali a proclaimed offender, a customs court has issued perpetual arrest warrants for the model who has been accused in a money laundering case.

During the hearing at Rawalpindi Customs on Saturday, the court declared Ali a proclaimed offender due to her continuous absconding of the case proceedings, local media reported. The court also issued perpetual arrest warrants for the model and summoned all witnesses to appear before the court in the next hearing on March 16.

Ali was caught back in 2015 at Benazir Bhutto International Airport with $506,800 in cash, which she was allegedly laundering to United Arab Emirates. However, after spending around four months in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail, she was granted bail after which she traveled abroad.

The court had already issued non-bailable arrests warrants against the model and had warned that Ali would be declared a proclaimed offender if she did not appear before the court.
