National Security Committee (NSC) held a special meeting on Tuesday in which it has strongly rejected India's claim of targeting an alleged terror camp in Pakistan and decided that Pakistan will respond to Indian aggression at the time, place of its choosing.

The meeting was convened on Tuesday to review the situation after the recent breach of Indian Air Force in LoC. The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan and attended by Chief of Army Staff Qamar Jawed Bajwa, top civil and military leaderships and ministers.

During the meeting, the NSC strongly rejected Indian claim of targeting an alleged terrorist camp in the wee hours of Tuesday near Balakot as well as the claim of heavy casualties. "Once again Indian government has resorted to a self-serving, reckless and fictitious claim," according to a statement by the committee.

The forum decided that India has committed uncalled aggression to which Pakistan shall respond at the time and place of its choosing. The prime minister has summoned a special meeting of National Command Authority on February 27.   PM Khan has also decided to engage with global leadership to expose irresponsible Indian policy in the region.

The premier has also directed the Pakistani armed forces and the people to be prepared for all eventualities. PM Khan appreciated the timely and effective response of Pakistan Air Force to foil India's attempt without any loss of life or property.
