De-politicization of bureaucracy, public service delivery PTI govt’s manifesto: PM

In a meeting with the Members of the National Assembly from Sargodha Division, the prime minister said the sadistic tendency on part of the government officials during the public dealing was in no way acceptable.

The meeting was attended by Malik Umar Aslam Khan, Malik Muhammad Ihsanullah Tiwana, Amjad Ali Khan, Sanaullah Mastikhel, Dr Muhammad Afzal Khan Dhandla, Chaudhry Amir Sultan Cheema and Javeria Zafar Aheer. Special Assistant to PM Naeemul Haq, PTI leader Arshad Dad and Spokesperson to PM Nadeem Afzal Gondal were also present.

The prime minister said the public representatives should identify the elements indulged in corruption, bribery and nepotism besides suggesting the solutions to the problems faced by the people and playing due role in this regard.

The prime minister felicitated Chaudhry Amir Sultan Cheema on his election as MNA. The parliamentarians apprised the prime minister about the problems faced by the people in their respective constituencies regarding the administration and police.

He also warned against compelling the applicants to wait for hours in name of official meetings and directed the officers to truly implement the open door policy for the masses.

The prime minister told the MPs that a comprehensive program for the poor segment of the society would be launched very soon.

He said the skill training to youth and uplifting the agriculture sector were among the government’s priorities.

The meeting decided to hand over the control of the Muzaffargarh-Mianwali and Sargodha-Mianwali highways to the National Highway Authority.

The administrative affairs of the party were also discussed during the meeting.
