Prime minister holds National Security Committee meeting

Prime Minister Imran Khan is chairing a National Security Committee (NSC) meeting at Prime Minister House on Thursday.

The meeting is attended by Finance Minister Asad Umar, Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Minister of State for Interior Shaharyar Afridi, among other cabinet members. The meeting is also attended by services chiefs, heads of intelligence agencies, and security officials.

The meeting will discuss the case of Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav which is being heard at the International Court of Justice. The recent ongoing situation after the Pulwama attack will also come under discussion, local media reported.

The visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman to the country will also be discussed.
