RAWALPINDI: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar directed officials concerned to take strict action against kite flying.

According to a handout issued by the Directorate Public Relations here on Tuesday, the Districts and Tehsils administrations have been directed to gear up operation against kite flying.

Meanwhile, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Ishaq Jahangir has directed all SDPO’s and SHOs to control kite flying in their respective areas otherwise strict action would be taken against them. No negligence would be tolerated at any cost, he added.

It may be mentioned that many precious lives were perished due to the illegal activity.
