Businessman Forum Leader and former senator Ilyas Ahmad Bilour has said the incumbent incompetent government has destroyed the economy of the country. Addressing at Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) on Monday, Ilyas Bilour alleged that the present PTI regime record financial blunder have pushed the country economy to the brink of bankruptcy.
The country leading businessman claimed that large units of Indus motors, Honda motors and Suzuki motors have been closed in the country that has rendered many industrial workers jobless. He said that if the incompetent politician, like Imran Niazi would continue as the country executive chief for more one year then there will no economy and businesses.
Senator Ilyas Bilour criticized that PTI-led government had miserably failed on both internal and external fronts. He said that people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had re-elected PTI to rule again in the province with high hope that there will be plenty of jobs opportunities, but Imran Niazi and Company had put the country's economy on stake because incumbent rulers are lacking acumen to run affairs of the country.
Businessman forum leader while quoting statement of finance minister regarding rising export and decreasing import by 50 per cent and said when industries and businesses are shutting down in the country then the production will be automatically declined.
We will call the only role of incumbent government regarding falling import in such a way that 'na rahega baans, na bajegi bansur' it means (if there is) no bamboo in the first place, there won't be any noise of the flute (to deal with).
Senator Ilyas Bilour said the former finance minister, Ishaq Dar and other forces had tried to control over dollar which merely aimed to safe people and the country economy from damage. But, he alleged the incumbent government presented anti-people budget on behest of IMF that has rapidly devaluing Pakistani rupee against US dollar.
Businessman leader said that Imran Niazi had asked his cabinet members that don't be scared and the country's economy will soon come on right track but when incompetent person drive a car which will not only hit own vehicle but also give damage to other. He furthermore said that the present government neither understands about economy nor politics.
Senator Ilyas Bilour said that general Niazi had disintegrated Pakistan and other Niazi has brought the whole country on verge of destruction and collapse. He said the unemployment ratio is rapidly increasing in KP and people are searching new job opportunities in the province. He said the incompetent PTI government is also deviating from its promise of providing one million jobs to people. He said the expert of U-turn Imran Khan has always changed his stance and unfulfilled promises.
Bilour said the CNIC condition a poison for small traders despite the fact; government was not taking interest to resolve issues of trading community. He stressed the need for imposition of economic emergency in the country.
He said the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project has become a torture for the people of Peshawar. He added PTI led provincial government has brought havoc to the provincial capital and half of the roads have been captured in the name of BRT, while due to the traffic congestion, the rest of thoroughfares of the provincial capital remain clogged.
