Jamaat-e-Islami chief Senator Sirajul Haq has said that war monger Modi has put the region in the permanent dangers and on the brink of atomic war. In a statement issued from JI headquarters Mansoora on Wednesday, he said if the world had not initiated serious efforts to resolve the Kashmir issue, an atomic war could have been started between Pakistan and India. The war if began, he added, would not remain limited to the two countries but engulfed the entire region or it could even spread in the entire world. Therefore, said Siraj, there was need of the hour that international community play their role to resolve the lingering issue according to the wishes of the people of the affected area.
He expressed regret that the UNO had failed to get implemented its resolutions on Kashmir where millions of people had become hostages due to Indian forces brutalities. The international body, he added, always acted as toothless when it came to the issues and problems pertaining to the Muslim world. He suggested the Muslim world should join hands to resolve their issues without depending upon the western powers and the UN.
Meanwhile, Siraj demanded opening of Pak-Afghan border at Bin Shahi point for trade and people to people contact between the two countries. He said the government should immediately open Kharki Road and start widening of Mayardo Asmar Road. He said since the feasibility report of Tajikistan Road from Chitral to the central Asian state via Wakhan was already completed, the government should start the project in the greater interest of the country and people of the area. He said government should immediately start construction on the alternative route of the CPEC for Malakand Division.
He said people were suffering and country was bearing loss of billion due to stoppage of work on various development projects. He called for the restoration of work on all the projects related to health, education sectors and infrastructure development.
He said the government was charging Rs 9,000 instead of Rs 3,000 in the name of medical test of the people desired to go for Umrah or Hajj. He demanded the government withdraw the heavy fee.
