As many as 2000 under-privileged children sheltered under different NGOs had a fun day at Aladin Amusement Park and enjoyed recreational activities and fun-packed rides free of cost. A A Joyland (Pvt) Ltd under its "Care for Joy" social initiative hosted a party day for the deprived, abandoned and street children at Aladin Amusement Park on Saturday.
These children who are less-fortunate and are usually deprived of merriments and amusement activities enjoyed fully and spent a pleasant day while many of them took rides for the first time in their lives.
Sadly, there are many underprivileged children who are deprived of recreational activities. Hence, we took this initiative at Aladin Amusement Park for these needy children so that they seize the joy of their childhood, said Ameen-Ud-Din, HOD Sales and Marketing at A A Joyland.
"We are thankful to JDC, Al-Khair Trust, Pakistan Independent Living Center, Street to School (STS), etc for joining hands with us for this activity which reignites compassion amongst us towards each other. We'll be honored to host such events in the future as well," he added.
The representatives of the participating NGOs lauded the initiative and appreciated the management of the park for realizing that such kids should also be given time and resources to entertain themselves in a very respectable way.
