Pakistan on Wednesday regretted the Afghan government's twisting of facts about some recent incidents of firing along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. "As a matter of policy, Pakistan does not fire across Pak-Afghan border. Cross border attacks by terrorists on Army/FC posts are responded to in self-defense only," Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal said in reference to Afghan government's written complaint against Pakistan in the UN Security Council about the alleged cross-border shelling.
