Buzdar inaugurates 'Sehat Insaf Card Scheme'

Inaugurating 'Sehat Insaf Card Scheme' for Pakpattan, Okara and Sahiwal on Saturday, Punjab chief minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said the holders of the card would get free of cost treatment facility from the private hospitals in a dignified manner. He said that 6.7 million families of 24 districts are getting benefits from Sehat Insaf Card. About 25 percent population of Sahiwal, 29 percent of Okara and 27 percent of Pakpattan has been given this card, he said, adding more than 2 million people of Sahiwal division are getting this card.
He maintained that this card will be given to the government employees under a phased programme. Similarly, this card will be distributed among Ulema, Mashaikh, Khateeb and students of seminaries, as well. The CM also inaugurated seven mega projects of Rs 800 million including Police Complaint Cell, computerized driving licensing lab and Pukar, 15 control room for Sahiwal division.
Sardar Usman Buzdar also announced three mega projects of Rs 1.19 billion including up-gradation districts headquarter hospital Sahiwal as teaching hospital. The CM further maintained that three mega projects for Sahiwal are being completed at a cost of Rs 7.19 billion.
