Army says it 'firmly stands by' Kashmiris

The military leadership on Tuesday affirmed full support to the people of Kashmir and ensured that the military would go to any extent to fulfil its obligations towards Kashmiri people. During the Corps Commander Conference at the military headquarters in Rawalpindi, the military under the leadership of Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the military fully supports the government's rejection of Indian actions in occupied Kashmir.
"Forum fully supported the government's rejection of Indian actions regarding Kashmir. Pakistan never recognised the sham Indian efforts to legalise its occupation of Jammu & Kashmir through Article 370 or Article 35-A decades ago; efforts which have now been revoked by India itself," Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj General Asif Ghafoor said after the conclusion of the Corps Commander Conference. The Corps Commanders Conference was held to discuss to discuss single point agenda of situation regarding Kashmir.
