Opposition's narrative flops badly: Buzdar

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Saturday said the narrative of the opposition, which always did politics over non-issues, has flopped badly. "The people have announced disassociation from those leaders who practiced politics of anarchy and the rejected elements have also lost their credibility," the CM said in a statement.
Sardar Usman Buzdar affirmed that the people only want prosperity and progress; hence the opposition parties must realize that only issue-based politics will prevail in Pakistan from now onwards. Moreover, the Punjab CM inaugurated tree plantation drive at China Park, here today by planting a sapling. The provincial health minister Dr Yasmin Rashid and senior officials were present on the occasion.
Talking to media on the occasion, the CM said, "All the senators voted conscientiously in the no-confidence motion; this is not something that has happened for the first time." However, he said that the voting on the opposition's no-confidence motion against Sadiq Sanjrani; If they [opposition members] had a problem with secret balloting; you could have asked for an open vote.
Answering a question regarding governance in Punjab, the CM said that the provincial affairs are being run smoothly as per vision of PM Imran Khan. He added that transfers and postings of officers are routine administrative matter.
He announced that 'Sehat Insaf Cards' will be distributed across the province of Punjab. On Thursday, these cards were distributed in Faisalabad and Chiniot districts. He added that these cards will also be provided to the government employees.
To another question, the CM said that the government will not allow anyone to increase the price of "Roti" and "Naan." He further said that sensible people of the country have rejected undemocratic behaviour of the opposition parties and the whole nation wants accountability of corrupt elements.
