01 Aug, 2019

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Wednesday said it would be good for Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani to resign himself; otherwise, opposition parties have sufficient votes to remove him. The PPP chairman expressed these views while talking to media persons at Parliament House on Wednesday after a luncheon of joint opposition senators. He said if Sadiq Sanjrani does not resign then he will be removed today (Thursday). "I had given suggestion from the first day that Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani should resign from his post," he said.
PPP leader and former Chairman Senate Syed Nayyar Hussain claimed that next decisions of 'Rehbar Committee' of the joint opposition would shake power corridors of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government. He said that changing of the chairman Senate is written on the wall.
He said, "We would take important decisions for future by living within the parameters of the Constitution and under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari." He said that Sadiq Sanjrani should resign himself by adopting a respectable way instead of becoming target of ego of anyone. The PPP leader said that law and order in the country is becoming worst day by day. He said that lives of the people are in miserable condition due to price hike. The opposition leads number game in the Senate with 65 senators, while Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) announced to stay away from the no-trust motion. The government has the support of 36 senators. Talking to reporters, Mir Hasil Bizenjo said that the opposition has the support of 65 senators, adding that he had won the day when his name was nominated by opposition for this post. Talking to media, Senator Mushahidullah Khan claimed that no other government told as many lies as the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government did. "The entire cabinet comprises turncoats," he alleged.
