An awareness session and walk held at University of Peshawar to mark the World Hepatitis Day in Peshawar. The session was conducted by Regional Blood Center (RBC), health department in collaboration with the Hamza Welfare Foundation University town, Peshawar on Sunday.
Dr Noor-i-Saba manager RBC Peshawar, Dr Tatiq Khan medical director Hamza Foundation and other officials from health department presented their lectures to create awareness about the hepatitis disease and its prevention.
Social workers, students, parents of Thalassemia and hemophilia patients and individuals from different walks of life participated in the event.
Dr Tariq khan presented HF shield to Dr Noor-i-Saba for her sincere efforts for provision of safe blood transfusion for the poor patients of KP.
Dr Saba also appreciated the welfare services of Hamza Foundation and provision of blood and products to the needy patients on the required standard of SBTP.
