As many as two persons, including a minor, lost their lives when rainwater entered the basement of a house on Thursday. Local police said that six residents were sleeping when rainwater inundated the basement, making them unconscious. Sehrish, 30, drowned along with her one-year-old son Shayan in a flooded basement. Soon after the incident, Rescue 1122 workers and police reached the scene and shifted the victims to hospital.
