This is apropos a news item titled "Licence renewal fee: PTA rejects mobile operators' apprehensions" carried by the newspaper on 22nd July, 2019. The impression given in the news item that the operators were not informed till the first week of May 2019 is not correct. It is clarified that the operators were engaged through a consultative process with PTA and with relevant stakeholder from 2016 onwards during the whole process of license renewal.
