Finland envoy asks Faisalabad traders to send profiles

Finland is providing technology and consultation to the whole world including Pakistan in various fields including biotechnology, mobile phones and recycling, said Harri Kamarainen Ambassador of Finland to Pakistan while he was addressing business community of Faisalabad in Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI). M Asad Ansari Honorary Consul of Finland was also present during this meeting.
Harri Kamarainen told that Finland is a small country with the population of 5.53 million, its 70 percent of the area is on the forest and 10 percent of the river and the remaining 20 percent is for population.
He said that Finland is investing massively for facilitating foreign residents to strengthen their economy so that employment and health facilities can be provided to Pakistani and foreigners.
He further told that the Finland General Hospital is also establishing for the health facility, where they will also provide facilities to Finland residents as well as equally to the foreign residents. He advised the business community that Pakistan is rich in natural resources so they can use this material for their businesses development too.
He said that at present three independent Finland counsels are working in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore. He said that due to technology their country has developed a lot. Nokia is on top list in mobile phone technology. He said that Finland is also producing good quality elevators.
Earlier in his address of welcome Mian Tanveer Ahmed Senior Vice President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) welcomed Harri Kamarainen Ambassador of Finland to Pakistan. He said that there are various famous companies such as Inter Loop, Raffan, Sitara Chemical Ibrahim Fibers and Nishat were also working here. He further said that FCCI has more than 7,000 members within its fold belonging to every sector of industry and trade.
