Zardari's arrest: 41 percent Pakistanis say they're happy: survey

Forty-one percent Pakistanis have supported the arrest of Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari in connection with money laundering charges while 31 percent have said that they are unaffected.
According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 41 percent Pakistanis claim that they are happy over the recent arrest of Zardari in connection with money laundering charges whereas 31% say that they are unaffected.
The question was: "How did you feel about his arrest?" In response, 41% said that they are happy, 31% said that they are unaffected, 22% said they are upset and 2% said that they had not heard about it, while 4% did not wish to respond.
