Two policemen martyred in Karachi gun attack

Two policemen were shot dead by unidentified men in the Orangi Town area of metropolis on Monday. The assailants, riding a motorcycle, managed to flee from the area after committing crime. A large contingent of law enforcers reached the spot and started the preliminary investigation. The bodies were later shifted to a hospital for postmortem.
"Both the police personnel were targeted when they were going for their duty in Orangi Town in the morning," said the SSP West.
"The firing incident occurred at Noori Chowk Orangi Town No 4, killing PC 3550 Allah Ditta Ahmed, and PC 5256 Ahmed. Four 9MM empties were found from the place of offence," the police said.
In March 2019, a policeman was also martyred by unidentified assailants in Orangi Town.
Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Rizwan Iqbal, who was deployed at Iqbal Market Police Station, had stopped at a meat shop in Orangi Town 13 near Subhani Mosque when the gunmen opened fire, killing him on the spot.
