The budget documents released on 11 May give total releases under the Public Sector Development Programme as Rs 500 billion (Rs 1.2 trillion minus Rs 700 billion provincial PSDPs, however the status of releases as on 31 May 2019 on the Ministry of Planning, Development and Reform is Rs 604.73 billion. A senior official of the Planning Ministry told BR that Rs 500 billion have been disbursed while the remaining Rs 104.7 billion are available to be disbursed in June. However the website of the Ministry indicates that Rs 604.73 billion has been released while total budgeted allocation was Rs 675 billion.
Federal PSDP in the recently released budget documents is however given as Rs 800 billion and not Rs 675 billion as indicated on the website of the Planning Ministry.
