Sarwar disposes of 85 percent appeals in three months

Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar on Monday decided almost 85 percent appeals against the orders of provincial ombudsman and ombudswoman Punjab. As many 124 appeals were filed during the last three months and 105 of them have been decided by the Governor. According to details, these decisions over appeals will grant government employment to the family members of government employees.
The Governor also directed universities to take examination as per the designed curriculum and gave decision on appeal on mismanagement in public institutions and irregularities in appointments. Sarwar also disposed of appeals on scholarships, family pensions, financial assistance and appeals for canal water for irrigation. He said providing relief and protection of rights of citizens is our fundamental priority.
