767th Urs celebrations of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar begins

Governor Sindh Imran Ismail inaugurated three-day 767th annual Urs celebrations of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar by laying floral wreath and offering Fateha at the mausoleum of the Saint in Sehwan town, Jamshoro district on Wednesday.
The Governor visited different sections of the mausoleum and distributed clothes among poor and deserving women. After inaugurating the Urs celebrations, the Sindh governor talked to media persons and said that it was his big desire to visit the mausoleum of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar and offer Fateha there and today this wish had been fulfilled. He said Sindh is the land of Sufis who preached the message of love, peace and affection.
Governor Sindh Imran Ismail dispelled the impression that there is economy crisis in the province. However, he assured that in case of any issue of economy crisis, he would approach Prime Minister Imran Khan and make efforts to resolve it at the earliest.
Responding to a question, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan is in strong position and making all out efforts to strengthen the economy and putting the country on the right direction of progress and prosperity.
The government of Prime Minister Imran Khan is making the payments of loans which were borrowed by the rulers of previous regimes, he said and added that soon the government would steer the economy out of crisis. The governor termed the visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to Iran as highly successful, adding that developing good and healthy relations with neighbouring countries are in the interest of the country.
Replying to another question, the governor said that Imran Khan has the authority to change the members of the cabinet for the larger interests of the country, adding that the Prime Minister is the person who is accountable for the performance of the government.
To a question, he said NAB is an independent and autonomous body which taking action after finding evidences of corruption. The government has no intervention into the affair of NAB, he added.
Replying to another question, the Governor termed the debate of Presidential System in the country old, adding that many countries of the world have adopted this system and they are successfully delivering, however, he added that democracy is essential in any system of the government.
