On Thursday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,845. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 4.956 billion and the number of lots traded 7,363.
Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 1.388 billion followed by gold PKR 1.376 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 700.204 million, currencies through COTS PKR 630.144 million, platinum PKR 340.732 million, silver PKR 304.169 million, DJ PKR 151.631 million, SP500 PKR 28.643 million, natural gas PKR 17.393 million, copper PKR 11.519 million and Brent crude oil PKR 6.831 million.
In agriculture commodities 23 lots of cotton valued at PKR 37.226 million were traded.
