Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) is organizing the 2nd Edition of TEXPO from April 11 to 14, at Lahore Expo Centre. This was announced by Secretary TDAP Muhammad Sualeh Ahmed Faruqui on Wednesday in a press conference. Director General's Syed Rafeo Shah and Riaz Sheikh, DG TDAP, Karachi and Mian Riaz Ahmed, DGTDAP, Lahore was also present.
Muhammad Sualeh Ahmed said that the main objective of the event is to enhance the country's export through comprehensive display of diverse Pakistani textile & Clothing products. He also said buyers from 53 countries and 230 exhibitors from all the major cities of Pakistan are participating in the event, especially representing value added sector like readymade garments, towels, bed sheets, hosiery, made ups, carpets, leather, high end fashion garments etc. Major brands like Chen One, Rajby, Sapphire, Al Karam, Siddiq sons and Reliance Petro reserved space in the event.
The event would bring together representatives of leading chain stores and international buyers at the doorsteps of the Pakistani business community, all under one roof.
