JI chief to take fresh oath of office on April 9

Chief of Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, who is returning home from a three-week visit to Saudi Arabia tomorrow, will take fresh oath of his office on April nine, at a simple but impressive ceremony to be held at Mansoora. Senator Sirajul Haq, who has been re-elected as the JI Ameer for the second time through secret vote, will head the organization for next five years.
On his a rival at the Allama Iqbal Airport, the JI chief will be received by the local workers of the JI youth. He will also talk to the media at the air port.
JI Information Secretary Qaisar Sharif, told representatives of JI's sister bodies at Mansoora that the oath taking ceremony will be attended by leaders of different political and religious parties, Ulema and Mashaikh besides senior journalists and columnists and office bearers of the associations of people from different walks of life including farmers, workers , students and lawyers. Senator Sirajul Haq and JI Secretary General Liaqat Baloch will address the ceremony.
