'Pakistan Day': Special service held at Westminster Abbey church in London

The Westminster Abbey, which was founded in 960 AD, organised a special evensong in connection with the Pakistan Resolution Day, as per tradition. The special service was held on the eve of March 23, says a press release received here on Saturday from London. Westminster Abbey is a royal church in London and a world heritage site with over a thousand years of history.
Pakistani High Commissioner to United Kingdom Mohammad Nafees Zakaria represented Pakistan at the special service. He was received by Dean of Westminster Dr John Hall. The Reverend Mark Birch led the evensong. The evensong was sung by the world-renowned choir of Westminster Abbey.
