Humiliation in the name of treatment not acceptable: Nawaz

Former premier Nawaz Sharif has responded to the Punjab government's letter stating therein that humiliation in the name of treatment is not acceptable, it has been learnt through reliable sources. Nawaz Sharif has stated in his reply that he is being moved to hospitals like a refugee. He also wrote that he has complete trust in courts and he will take care of his own treatment if is given some relief.
This letter will be forwarded to the government in two to three days, the sources said. Nawaz has refused to be relocated to a hospital for treatment despite requests by his family members after Prime Minister Imran Khan directed Punjab government to provide best medical treatment to the PML-N leader. Moreover, Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif's health is better and he is being given all medical facilities at jail.
The minister urged the Sharif family not to do politics on his health. She said the incarcerated former premier should openly accept if he wants to go abroad. Maryam Nawaz should pray for her father instead of tweeting, the PTI leader said. Dr Yasmin Rashid said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and PML-N are just political opponents, not enemies. She affirmed that the Punjab government is willing to give best medical facilities to Nawaz Sharif.
