Pakhtunkhwa Hockey Association has finalized names for 46 members squad for the two teams of KP to participate in the forthcoming National Under-19 Hockey Championship being played in Naseer Bunda Hockey Stadium under the aegis of Pakistan Hockey Federation from Sunday.
According to President KP Hockey Association Syed Zahir Shah they had organized a two-day trial in which more than 100 players appeared. He said each team will comprise 23 players. The teams had left for Islamabad. He said Chairman KP Hockey Association Muhammad Saeed Khan, Syed Zahir Shah, Secretary Peshawar District Hockey Association Haji Hidayat Ullah, international player and Coach Yasir Islam, Zia Binori monitored the trials.
The KP Green team comprising Waseem, Saleem Khan, Yasir Khan, Qasim, Mohib, Salman, Mohsin, Jibran, Usman Khan, Huzaifa, Zarin Khan, Osama, Mansoor, Shoaib Khan, Abbas, Waqas, Hazrat Ali, Anis Khan, Fahad and Khalil. The Red team including Hamza Khan, Usman, Qasim, Danish, Safuain, Umar, Saqib, Taimur, Ismail Khan, Asad Khan, Raza Habib, Ihsan, Aimal, Umer Marwat, Munib, Umar, Waleed Ahmad, Muzamil, Asfandiyar, Waseem, Hazar Ahmar and Nouman. The official comprising Tufail Khan, Haroon, Aijaz Junior and Farhad.
