Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has warned Dr Farooq Sattar, its former convener against using the name, flag and symbol of the party and announced to adopt a legal course against him if he doesn't desist from doing it again. MQM-P convener Dr Khaild Maqbool Siddiqui in a letter to Dr Farooq Sattar by addressing him as Head Organization Restoration Committee said that basic membership of Dr Sattar from MQM-P has been terminated vide order of the Central Coordination Committee of the party dated 13th September 2018.
Despite this, you have been captured by the media while employing the name of the Party "Muttahida Quami Movement, Pakistan" its abbreviation "MQM(P)" and its flag and symbol, for your own self-use, which is unauthorized, malafide and unlawful, amounting to piracy and misuse, Dr Siddiqui stated.
He warned him not to repeat your malafide act as in none of your media or other appearances you should be seen to hoist the MQM Pakistan Party Flag and its symbol i.e. the Kite in your vicinity as well as none of your banners may also be used or reflect the MQM Pakistan Party name or its abbreviation, or exhibit the MQM Pakistan Party flag or its symbol, in any manner whatsoever.
He cautioned that in case you do not desist from doing so, the party would be left with no other option but to report it to the authorities concerned and/or take suitable legal action (criminal or civil) against you, which shall be pursued at your own cost, risk and consequences.
