Shifting of supply pipelines: Nine-hour gas suspension in Peshawar today

The supply of natural gas will remain suspended in most parts of the provincial metropolis on Wednesday (today) because of shifting of the main supply pipelines from the route of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) near GT Road.
Spokesperson of Sui-Northern Gas Company Pipeline Limited, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has said that SNGPL is undertaking a major project of shifting of its utility pipelines from the route of Rapid Bus Transport Project (BRT).
He said as part of this shifting, main gas pipelines of 12" and 8" dia on GT Road near Jinnah Park have to be re-routed. So, he said the supply will remain suspended from 8pm on Wednesday evening to 5am Thursday.
He requested all residents and industrial areas dwellers/industrialists to take extreme caution and switch off all gas run appliances during the shutdown on 28th and 29th of November.
