Former President Asif Ali Zardari has said, "We need tolerance in the society for creating a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan." He in his message on the eve of World Tolerance Day said that Pakistan is a country of different cultures and traditions and to some extent multi-religions as well.
"We need tolerance in our society which means respecting other cultures and religions. Tolerance means living with differences and the diversity in Pakistani society demands tolerance," he added, says a press release issued here on Friday. He said that the PPP and its leadership have always showed tolerance. PPP will continue to strive for a society free of hatred and hostility, he added.-PR
