The drop scene of missing Capital Development Authority (CDA) deputy director Ayaz Khan was witnessed on Friday evening when he said through a video message that he is safe and has come to DI Khan to visit a relative. In his video message, he told that he lost his cellular phone due to which he couldn't contact his family members. He had gone to DI Khan without informing his family members, he added.
The police also registered first information report (FIR) on Friday against his suspected abduction on the complaint of his brother-in-law Hassan at Aabpara police station. The complaint said the CDA official had gone to his office in Islamabad's Sector G-6 on Thursday last but did not return home. According to the application, Khan was in contact with his wife until 8pm when he had told her that he would come home shortly. After 8pm, however, the family members lost contact with him as both of his contact numbers were not reachable.
